Hello Folks.
I thought I would share my experience with Adrian Flux insurance this morning.
First of all let me start by giving you a bit of a background:-
I was happily insured with Adrian Flux and thought they were great and quick to react. I was driving a 330ci (insurance £600) with 2 years no claims this year which I sold mid policy and changed the car to a ford KA (run around until the new one is delivered). I was refunded around £100. All good and happy.
Today I call up Flux to prepare for the delivery of my M135i which I am being quoted circa £400-£500 by other insurers. So I go through the change your car on your policy routine and I am told the cost to insure the car to the end of the policy which is only 2 months will cost me £360!! and the annual quote is £1350. Of course I am not happy so I said I would call back.
I called back 10 minutes later and told them I want to cancel my current policy and start a new one and what do you know with the same company (equity red star) the quote is £450. Obviously in doing this I lose my years no claims its an absolute JOKE!!!
Any Flux reps on here ? Why do you do this to your customers, you have selected a customer as wanting something (my 1 years no claims) and expect me to pay double for it ? Its not the first time i have heard of this either.
Anyone any advise on how to proceed ?
Regards
Chris
