Hi there - recently I've seen a few people asking how to add images to their posts, there is an article posted in the deep darkest parts of the forum and sometimes doesn't come up in a search. So I'm going to cover it again here.

In order to display an image in your post, the picture in question, needs to reside on a website somewhere.

When entering the post, type in the full link to the image, including the http:// part, and then type the tags around the whole link.

e.g.

[img]http://www.babybmw.net/logo.gif[/img]

If this has been done correctly, the image will be displayed - before submitting the post, you can preview it to make sure it works.

if i do it this way it just places a link in the post to see the image.
how do you actually get the image to just show in the post
