I have weighed my 2018 M140i auto Shadow edition, no sunroof, 5dr and it was 1520kg with 3/4 tank of fuel. I'll be looking for some weight saving mods in the future. But for now I'm happy with it, it's an excellent little car.
Huge thanks for sharing this. I've searched the internet thoroughly and this is the only result I've found. So maybe 1535kg with full tank and the Shadow edition comes with quite a few options

Maybe a 3 door would be 1515kg with full tank. Not too bad.

My M4 is 1639KG with full tank and lots of options without driver.

Wish I'd weighed my old M135!
No worries bud, they are good cars for the money 👍 once the mods begin I think it will be sweet 👍

Just to update this:

2019 3 door Shadow Edition with heated seats, electric mirrors and full tank of fuel. Running lighter wheels and tyres for a saving of approx 12kg the car weighed 1538kg.

Is that off an M3 or M4 nisfan [emoji106]
Sorry, didn't see this. M2, M3 or M4. They all have an aluminium front subframe. Around 6kg lighter than the steel versions. However, once you fit the steel stiffening plate it's probably similar in weight, but stiffer.

Nice, 100kg lighter than an M4. Didn't expect that.

Was that on 4 scales? What was the weights on each wheel?

It's actually about 90kg lighter than M4, considering the Mlite looks tiny in comparison, I think that shows how much they did to keep weight off M4.

This was weighed using the scales at brands hatch (just one big one), same one used on M4.

Kerb Weight = Weight of Car with standard accessories, full fluids, no driver = 1505kg (Auto)
Unladen Weight = Weight of Car with fuel, 68 kg driver, 7 kg cargo = 1580kg (Auto)

All approx, as you say, varies a bit with options and accessories.
My car on weighbridge in work today 1560kg tank nearly full. 2016 m240 auto.

My car is not an M lite but as a comparison, the last time I took my 125i to a weighbridge it came out at 1,600 kg with a full-ish tank and a (does some maths) 79 kg driver. Lighter engine, everything else about the same. It is fairly loaded, but doesn't have a sunroof or electric seats which are the real culprits. Anyway, surprisingly heavy given how much smaller the engine is.

With half a tank the F22 M240i xDrive comes in at 1630kg, roughly 100kg lighter than the new model with similar spec (as measured in one of the videos of Misha).

Mine has ZF8, adaptive, electric seats, etc so might be heavier than one with manual box, etc, etc.

The 1613kg shown in the photo is after the stock 225/245 wheels where replaced with the square OZ rims and 245/35 Asy6 tyres which removed roughly 18 kilo's of unsprung and rotational mass, so add that if you want the stock weight.

Also note that the xDrive adds roughly 55-60kg to the front and does this without further changes to the balance so its front heavy by 54% and not the perfect 50/50 balance we are used to with the RDW models.
