Hello all,

I'm looking to buy a used M135i, but it must have the 2022 revisions (improvements).

Is there any way sure way of identifying such cars?
Car reviews mentions 2022, but when exactly? Are there any physical differences that could be checked?

Cheers.

Good decision we waited to ensure the revised model would be received on a new build.

August 2022 onwards seems to be the change of model date

Changes are mostly mechanical so not sure easy to see, along with tweaks to gearbox, xdrive software which was much needed

Worth a read too

I thought it was later than that. According to Joe they’ve been produced since around November 2022.
Joe seems to imply November 2021 , video was released 10 months ago and he says last November which makes it 21. Semi interested in the answer to the original question myself as I am also possibly looking at getting a M135, but after having driven a 20 plate 135 and a later 128Ti , I thought the 128 felt a better drive and was wondering if these changes made that much of a difference to the later 135i's.

revised M135i uses lots of components from the 128ti

your right think UK models were a few months after though so probably March 2021 onwards

Don’t forget the 135 is heavier with the Xdrive and potentially driving all 4 wheels so it’s going to put its power down differently.

Thanks for all the replies.
I've solved the date dilemma by opting to buy a new one!
There are some great discounts and pretty good finance, so I bit the bullet on a new in-stock car.
Hopefully I can secure it before someone else does!
