The fuel flap on my 57 e87 just flaps about when I drive. Whenever I turn left it will open fully and is always open at the end of journeys. It's starting to **** me off now!!

Has anyone else had this problem or know what is causing it? It feels loose when I open or close it, so it may be a spring or something but not sure.

Thanks a lot, finally I can fix it! I didn't realise you could search the site, only just started using it.

I would say it is really easy too. It took me about 15 mins to do. the most difficult bit was getting the rubber flange over the filler neck.
