Hi All,

I recently filled my car up with a full tank of fuel and stopped as soon as it clicked. And i have noticed the driver side passenger rear wheel just in front seems to be a leak, i put my finger in it and you can smell that it is diesel.

I have read it could be do with the venting pipe but can cost a lot to repair is the solution for this to just not fill it to the top?

Needs fixing imo, a lot of Power Rangers get messed up every year coming off their motorbikes due to random little diesel spills.

Certainly do whatever you can in the short term to prevent dropping fuel, driving around half empty, etc, if that helps?

I had this on mine a few years ago, it's the breather pipe from the fuel tank which is why it only happens when the tank is full. The pipe is poorly designed and rubs against something.

Unfortunately it's not a cheap fix despite the pipe only being a few pounds as the fuel tank has to be dropped and there are a lot of mechanicals in the way of that!
