Hi there,

My front wiper seems to be working intermittently which has led to scary moments in the rain! It gives up for around 5 mins randomly then starts working again as if nothing was wrong. Not resolved by restarting car, just spontaneously starts working again.

Anyone know what the issue could be? Will be calling my local independent in the morning but thought I'd ask here too.

I'd start by changing your wiper relay.

Check the connectors for the cabling? Could be a loose connection?

Just had my front wiper relay fail in torrential downpour! Was lucky to get off road safely and swap it with rear one to get going again, what a stupid place for fuse and relay board!

Got 2 ordered from cotswold on here, I had to swap rear to front to keep going so im replacing both with new and keep old rear in car as spare as dont want that again!

Just for reference for anyone searching replacement relay for this is part number 61366980177 and these supersede the part number fitted.
