Hi guys,

Took my car to a garage today, know the guy quite well, my car was chucking black smoke out, with a lot of carbon around the engine, he took a look around saw that the swirl flaps were worn and that was the cause. Is there blanking plates you can buy for these, i know with my old car "e46" you could. or can anyone give me a part number for the whole new swiflaps,

Thanks.

I don't think you can remove and blank them like an E46, they're part of the intake manifold.

A new manifold is probably part 11618507239 , but double check before buying.

Cheers, got told I could change the swirlflaps without changing the manifold, not to sure if that's true or not, just seen the price on a new one and don't fancy paying £400 for it ha ha
