Hi folks,
Just read the topic about differences between the 125 and 130 engine question and it got me thinking, I have a 120i sport on a 54 plate which has the 150bhp engine but late cars got the 170bhp engine! can anybody tell me what the differences are? ecu, inlet??? any help would be great!

This concerns the 320si which the motor that the 120i (170hp) has on are in no relevance.

The 120i motor with 170hp has the following differences with the old 120i motor (150hp):
1. High Precision Injection (direct injection)
2. Different Air intake
3. Different exhaust system and a
4. Different ECU program
