Hi guys,
I think the throttle body is shagged on my 2004 116i, I get a fault code P1638 throttle stuck temporarily.
I've had the body out and it doesn't shut all the way, not sure if it's meant to or not? There's a small gap at the bottom, but the code saying that it's getting stuck means to me that it's either not opening or closing when it's meant to, and due to it being driven by a motor I'm going to have to get a new one?
Do they have to be calibrated or anything or is it a case of popping out buying one and fitting it?
