Hi,
Looking for a bit of help or just some advice.
I have been looking at my 116i's engine bay and as far as I am lead to believe the 116i has got a vanos unit with 2 vanos solenoids. Is it unusual for someone to unplug these from the wiring loom, as my engine has the 2 vanos solenoids however they don't seem to be connected to anything, just plugged into the engine, the actual plugs are not connected to any wiring.
Maybe I am missing something, or if someone could correct me if I am wrong, but surely these should be connected.
I have read aboutn others who have disconnected these when experiencing issues with the vanos unit, however I am unable to even find the actual cabling to re-attach them.
Any help would be much appreciated.
