Morning everyone, would appreciate some advice on this if anyone can help. Bought a 2008 118d last week and noticed today some sort of reflector is missing from one the headlamps inside presume someone has snapped it off changing a bulb. I've looked at a few other 1 series and noticed others are the same, some have one missing and some have both missing. One headlight is very slightly brighter than the other not nothing major. Should I buy a new headlamp unit or can I remove the other one? Does it really matter? Thanks

Thanks for the reply, but yours has passed an MOT like that? So it's obviously nothing serious that was my thinking.

Thnks for the reply, there's an 2009 1 series in the carpark next to mine and it's exactly the same, drivers side has one and passenger side doesn't, I've seen a few with both missing. They must just break easily. Sounds trivial but appreciate your help.
