Are these different to the ones supplied on the 130i LE? Would you happen to know the weight?
Lower offset and half an inch wider I believe.. They arent the lightest, probably similar stock M135i alloys.

Would these fit an M140i running F235 / R255 width tyres?

Just fitted 255/35/18 on a 18" 8.5" ET44 wheel on front axle, with camber plate running 3.0 degree camber.
It clears with no fender mod, the wheel has 3mm clearance to the strut while the tyre has 2mm, I will put in a 3mm spacer later just for safety.

Would this have been possible without the camber plates? I’m looking to run the same setup on my M135i Xdrive (LCI), I don’t have camber plates but it’s sitting Low on a set of KW V1.

Well.... M135i is a different car I am not sure clearance data is comparable?
On the E87 I guess no, you must have full 3 degree camber to clear the fender, I am barely clearing it.

Hi folks. I’ve just got myself into a 2016 118d SE. The car’s come with 16” wheels and non run flats but they’re not reinforced either for the extra sidewall rigidity.
I’m intending to rectify this with xl tyres but am also considering whether to go to 17s or 18s for new alloys.
I’ve gone SE for the more relaxed drive and easier suspension for long commutes so I don’t want to loose that, but the current set up is just too far on the spongey side.
Really interested to know from SE owners who have 17s or 18s as to how these affect ride?

No point in owning a BMW that handles like a Micra! 17's with XL's are probably the least worst compromise, a bit of stability and a bit of comfort.

Enough tyre-wall to soak up those big pot-hole hits, but not enough to make it feel floppy and vague.

BMW Style 379 could be good, easy to clean, inexpensive and plentiful? I'd fit them with 225/45/17 94Y all round. Or maybe something like: https://www.bmautosport.co.uk/showroom/ ... 51_154_123 ?

Cheers Marco. I did try an m-sport (that I couldn’t budget for) with 18s and was surprised that they felt quite comfortable. But whether they’d work with the SE suspension is a different matter I guess. My wife’s Peugot has possibly the rolliest suspension out there and the 17s don’t seem to make much difference over the winter 16s in sharpening it up...but the beemer isn’t even nearly as soft.
One thing the new SE has demonstrated though is how totally knackered my old suspension was !
