Keeping the cloth interior immaculate?

Post by Baz » Wed Aug 15, 2018 10:12 am

I coach youth football and am looking for any recommendations for seat covers for my 116d Sport cloth interior (front and rear) for when the footy season starts and muddy kids start using the car! My previous car had leather seats which was a simple wipe down job as they got muddy...

Obviously I want to protect the cloth interior as much as possible so do you have any recommendations for good quality, reasonably priced seat covers? I've searched on Amazon and Ebay and seem to just find really cheap 'generic' covers that have wildly mixed reviews of very expensive tailored solutions. Can't seem to find anything in the middle ground offering quality at a reasonable price.

I'd also be interested in hearing of any experiences of detailing solutions instead of a physical barrier - Scotchguard, Autoglym interior protectant, 303 fabric guard, Chemical Guys fabric guard, etc. as I'd be happy to go with this option as I generally keep my car very clean and dabble in detailing it when I get the spare time!

Cheers,
Baz
