Bmw airbag warning light f21

Post by Jakebradleybmw » Fri Jul 12, 2019 12:07 am

Hello everyone.

I have recently started working on a BMW 120d f21 2013 plate, the car was a category d when I purchased it with an airbag warning light, originally I said that there was a passenger restraint problem which was a quick fix as the person who had tried to fix it put the airbag unit plug in the wrong way round, it then changed to a general restraint system code saying airbag, belt tensioner system fault, I replaced the belt tensioner on the drivers side as it had been deployed but this warning is still showing, I have an icarsoft i910 scanner which is showing 2 unknown codes, I’m currently debated to replace the drivers seat to see if it’s a problem with the system under the seat. Would anyone know anything about this or anything I can do before spending big money on a seat or an auto electrician.

Many thanks, Jake.
