DIY: Cold air intake upgrade F20/21 M135

Post by Tommi » Sun Jul 14, 2019 1:20 pm

Sorry my bad English, but I try to do my first DIY to babybmw websites.
If you use INJEN, Burger etc. intakes, this might bring some help to get more cold air to filter.
First remove right side gill from front bumper.

Use tools like this.

Then remove underbody panel from right side (there is located air temperature sensor) by undo 8 mm screws.
Ater removing the grill you will see this

and behind

After this I just saw a hole to that Black plastic like this

Then I use thin aluminium plate and made this

And here it in inside of the bumper

And then just the grill back

Hopefully now there will be moore cold air here

Easy job to do.
