Re: Downpipe 200 cell M240ix

Relax man :) Was merely giving my opinion that there are better bang for buck ways of spending upwards of £1000+ on the car (£2k for a Supersprint  ) for what you are gaining. I see your point of longevity of the turbo mind you, never looked at like that but does it really make that much of a...

Re: Downpipe 200 cell M240ix

Sorry but it seems like a hell of a lot of money for not much gain imo and better spent elsewhere. If the b58 was underpowered to start with I would kind of understand but its not, far from it. Add to that numerous tuners reporting results of 430 bhp + on a stock car....just how much power do you re...

Re: GAP Insurance

I ended up going with gap insurance through the dealer and have 36 months return to invoice cover. It was very expensive, seem to remember the region of £500 - £600 but they magically knocked that down to £200 when I showed them quotes from other companies. Why not try gapinsurance.co.uk they are a ...

Re: Interesting tussle with a V8 M3

Thing that gets me here is M2 costs how much? and yet an M140i will keep up with one even beat one in some viddys!! Granted the M2 is better handling machine but surely the bill for a well sorted suspension etc 140i still comes in way cheaper than an M2 for the same thrill... Yes it is very hard to...

Re: Interesting tussle with a V8 M3

My mates M4 is a real vicious car but he has now said it himself after 5 months with car No3 that it is not a question of BHP its a question on wether it can lay it down and the road and he said quite frankly you cannot lay it down as it just wheelspins and squirms and generally spits its dummy out...

Interesting tussle with a V8 M3

Been out and about running a few errands when I start to follow a lovely looking e93 M3 vert. Anyhow I noticed him looking in the mirror and then started to egg me on shoeing it out of roundabouts....I dropped my window so I could hear the glorious V8 wail but i wasn't biting as it was a built up ar...

Re: M135i > 340i Touring M Sport... has anyone made the switch?

I used to drool over this........ https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1180403 We have an older e91 touring and it is definitely a compact touring, its got a reasonable amount of space but if you need a LOT of room I'd maybe look at a 5er? As JonD said have a ride to the dealer with yo...

Check out the 3D Design spoiler, pricy, but the only one I'd fit if I were in the market.       There's pricey and there is plain ridiculous. £869 for my 2er, sorry but that's way too much. I could have cash coming out of my ears and I wouldn't pay ...
