Re: Anyone on here ?

Yes the cyclist could have waited his turn which may have increased his visibility This statement displays a major problem with drivers on our roads, so please think again! Such a big attitude problem people have :( My comment was aimed at the previous posts which made this point. I think you are r...

Re: Anyone on here ?

Yes it’s the car drivers fault he’s in the wrong place. Yes the cyclist could have waited his turn which may have increased his visibility However if he had how many people can say if they were turning left behind him they would have waited? Hopefully posting the video will make at least one person ...

Goodwood driving experience

My other half got me a extreme weather driving experience which I got to enjoy yesterday at Goodwood. A interesting and fun chance to play out on a skid pan with an instructor with you. Looking at under and over steer and learning what to do to to stop it or control it. Best bit they have mlites, ju...

m240i winter wheel set

So being a newish owner of a m240i I’m considering, after reading the great winter wheel guide, a set of winter wheels. Could email Cotswold to see what price they could do on an approved full set but obviously the cost will still be high and you end up seemingly with some old designs of winter tyre...

That looks good, would you recommend them?
Not used another company but certainly pleased with the results. Barry was easy to deal with and location was easy for me to get too.

Initial m240i thoughts.

So having spent an age trying to spec my car and then waiting to then get it on an 18 plate I finally got my new car last weekend. I thought it was worth sharing my initial impressions. Having switched from a manual 120d xdrive to a automatic mlite the drive train is obviously the biggest difference...

Re: M235i vs M240i

The original poster mentioned PCP. Obviously in general arp % tend to be worse for secondhand so depending on figures a new car might not be a terrible choice. Certainly descent dealer discounts available.

New policy

Another policy sorted. Hopefully will never be needed but peace of mind at a far better price than a dealer suggested. Thanks.

Re: We need to talk about aquaplaning.....

Tread design surely has to help. Simply use F1 as an example dry/inter/wet tyre design. The amount of water a wet tyre can clear allows the car to function. Aquaplaining still occurs but at a high velocity. Interesting thread though. For the OP not sure I saw him tell us temperature at the time of t...

Re: M140i silver accents

Also not a fan of them. You can find replacement mirror caps from forum sponsor autoid or else where. Wrapping seems a popular option for the bits around the vents. You could always gets bits sprayed.

Re: business nav vs pro media on new cars?

It is still a smaller screen but it now sits behind a piece of glass that makes it look nicer. You also get a bigger controller although it’s not touch sensitive.

The front number plate is held on with 7 screws!! So when you remove it and the base the bumper looks like someone has fired a shotgun at it. Not pretty.
Just as well the number plate covers it up then. Lol
