Looking stunning in an off white/silver shade. Parked up in the Pitville area mid morning.

Re: My 125i story

Looking good indeed Twenny. Quick question for you if you don't mind. Is your red insert glued in place? I have the same storm knob as you only with the black alcantara and I noticed recently that it spins around the gear stick. No real drama as I'm more of a grabber from above but just wandered if...

Re: My brother's new 125i

I've never heard of the n52 engine needing walnut blasting. Don't think it's been mentioned on this forum at least. Someone will elaborate more I'm sure or correct me if I'm wrong. Service wise it would be prudent to change both the gearbox and diff oils as BMW state sealed for life but thats bollox...

Fair play to you Bish your using her as she was intended.
The car looks awesome and those arches give it a great stance. Regarding the pedals do they just screw on?

Hi

Sorry, it looks like we've not been getting forum notifications for some reason

Pem10, is the car standard or modified?

Cheers

Tim

Re: Oil advice and Recommendation

Hello.

Can you recommend any engine oil for a petrol r56 mini cooper please? 1.6L N12 engine I think.

Car is standard but does do mostly short journeys if that makes a difference.

Many thanks.

Does anyone know what a mini should idle at? Seems to sit around 600rpm. Thanks for all the suggestions were slowly...

Re: Making money from sporadic drives!? Possible?

Just thought what about a trade plate driver? You take a car it could be a dacia or or a lovely 7 series from one dealer to another. Don't know much about it the only downside being the journey home. Public transport from an unknown area doesn't sound much fun to me although it could be an mini adve...

Re: Making money from sporadic drives!? Possible?

No experience needed really as all you would be doing is collecting from one place and driving to another. A good sat nav would be useful though. Don't know where you would stand insurance wise on your current policy. You may need goods in transit plus public liability cover. Ask yourself this. Who ...
