Re: Rear Subframe Part Number help needed.

There is a part number search in realoem. The 314 fits only a 120d. The 315 fits a 118d lci model, but there must be differences if it’s not quoted for your car. It’s rarely wrong. Oddly, your part number is the same as the 130i, which I know also fits some from some e90 models as I’ve fitted one. D...

Re: On coilovers and spring rates

I have the meister on my 130i and they are great. Firm but not uncomfortable. On soft they ride like m-sport but without the crashiness in the rear, on firm good control for track work. So I think that spring rate is just right for a 1450kg ish car. the principle of a spring is the same no matter wh...

Re: 130i rear subframe

I have a pre lci 130i subframe off a 75k car if you want it. Bought a used e90 one, polybushed and powder coated it, so it just fitted in whole. I was going to strip it and get it powder coated, but happy to let go as is. Pm if interested.

Re: 130i to M135i Brake upgrade project

Well my brake set up is finally sorted. I had some issues getting the rear fitment correct, turned out the calipers I bought had been poorly milled for another car and sat on an angle - check out that dodgy disc wear from the bedding in process. So a new set of rear calipers, expertly milled by Matt...

You need to clear the fault code after you’ve installed the resistors. Shouldn’t reappear after that. Carly can do that for you.

Re: ET38 with eibach pros on front?

Do you have 8.5” rears? If so and you can bodge a 16mm spacer on the front you’ll have an et36 as a trial fit. Not sure that’s sensible to drive on but could be useful for an eye. Here a pic of my 245’s taken this morning in case it’s useful. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190322/57a9f636bbf4e32...

Re: ET36 with eibach pros on front?

It’s not the same fitment but I’ve coilivers which site the spring lower in the wheel arch than oem suspension. Eg closer to the tyre making fitment really difficult. Currently have a 245 tyre up front on a 18x8 et40 rim. Camber is fairly aggressive at -2.7 degrees with m3 lca’s. No rubbing at all. ...

Re: ET36 with eibach pros on front?

The ac schnitzer type 3 alloys are 18x8.5 et 38 and direct fit our cars so I would have thought you’ll be ok somewhere around that ball park.

9520 Fault Code may not be what it seems?

Hi all After installing buckets and a race wheel in my 130i I am now left with just one fault - 9520 mechanically defective contact audio telephone button > 5min. The seat belt light is also permanently illuminated. Now this seems odd as it’s most common for this fault to cause a dsc error Light - t...

Might be keen on this. I’m coming from Surrey - any idea roughly how many hours it’d take me to get to the meeting point? Assume the driving route itself finishes around lunch time?
