Re: JapanRed's new Steed (+new stable mate)

Haha Tommo, C63 estate :D No I’ve still got the M3 - actually really enjoying it recently but we are probably going to buy a caravan this winter so a 4x4 will be replacing it in the next 6 months. Was a little too tempted than I should’ve been by a very very keenly priced McLaren 570S this summer to...

Re: JapanRed's new Steed (+new stable mate)

Hey guys, great to hear from you both. Lots of love for the Porsches on here :spotman: Managed to view a few cars a couple of weekends ago but still not viewed everything that I want to see. Not looked at the Porsches yet or Lexus. Once I've seen these (looking at boot space, interior and exterior s...

Re: JapanRed's new Steed (+new stable mate)

Thanks Conrad/Rob/Iva, Ive looked at the F-Pace online and not sure the boot is big enough, but will look at both that and the Macan in the flesh in the coming weeks. To be honest we aren't in a desperate need to sell the M3. We will manage quite happily for another year or so I'm sure; I guess I'm ...

Re: JapanRed's new Steed (+new stable mate)

Hi Rob/Peter, A couple of reasons really. First one is the fact that it directly competes with the 911 which is annoying. I've drove the Porsche even less since having the M3 which makes me sad. Second, between the M3 and the Golf we haven't really got enough room. Yeah sure we can squeeze everythin...

Upgrading from a 130i

I think running costs are overestimated sometimes. This is what I've spent on the 911 in 2 years ownership. Some of these are avoidable (exhaust) and these figures also include servicing every year (whereas book says only needed every 2 years). Have you got a gen 2 car? 997 is definitely tempting b...

Re: Upgrading from a 130i

The 911 with no depreciation is arguably the cheapest of those cars long term.

Grigio Telesto looks different in differing light conditions. Best in direct sunlight though. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171002/6b299e2fdf9e5eaf0218f94168634604.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171002/b1e623ebbd49383d7060660029524726.png https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171002/88dbe7...

Re: Northern Romp - Sunday 10th September 2017

Just want everyone (BJT mainly) to know I wasn't part of the secret club. The reason I pulled out of the first romp was genuine. Same reason as pulling out of the 'secret one' though wasn't it? weather related? I found out about the secret one by accident, a stray message in the wrong whatsapp grou...

Re: HELP - Dealer Cock-up

Just read the rest of this thread and it's a joke. Some folk on here are unbelievable.

OP might earn £100k a year but why should he pay for a dealers c**k up. Equally, I don't think the OP ever asked whether he should put the money towards a house instead of a car.

Re: HELP - Dealer Cock-up

Hello, I was looking forward to collecting a lovely M240i but alas its gone wrong at the final hurdle. When ordering the car, i went through the options with a fine tooth comb even opting for white instead of grey to bring it below £40,000 so i pay £140 per year tax. The saleswomen was adamant that...
