Official info all released today. My goodness that looks nice (if predictable). To my mind its got all the best bits of the new X1 and G30 5 series in an SUV using the proper chassis (not the MINI one). Prices range from £37,000 to £50,000.
Available options include all the latest toys, such as the latest touch screen navigation, Wireless Charging, Gesture Control, Adaptive Drive, Digital Cockpit display, Multi coloured ambient lighting and floor curtain lighting as per the 7 series.

Engines from launch.... and yes we are getting the M40i engine for the UK!

Available at the November 2017 launch:

- BMW X3 xDrive30d: 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line diesel engine, 195 kW/265 hp, max. torque 620 Nm, 0-100 km/h 5.8 sec, ECE fuel consumption 5.7-6.0 l/100 km, CO2 149-158 g/km.1)

Available from December 2017:

I bought my 240 as a keeper, but now I've seen this I will be tempted to have a look when they come out depending on price.

I wonder if I could do a straight swap over from my PCP after 4 years, depends on price I guess.

The idea of an SUV almost as quick as the 240 is appealing!!! :D

Depends how popular it proves to be but I suspect this will be one of the most in demand X series.

Quick look at coast2coast shows following discounts available on X vehicles:

X1 - 8%
X3 - 15% (F25)
X4 - 14%
X5 - 17%
X6 - 18%

X1 is probably best guide since current model is relatively new.

Oh god I hope the wife doesn't see this. She's after an x3 and with a 3ltr diesel she'll be sniffing round this.

It will depend on BMW allocations. If they only give each dealer 4 cars a month, there will be next to no discount in year 1 and no extra
deposit contribution. My betting is 3% at best for first 12 months until the dust settles. There wont be many appearing through the brokers.

Interesting they have unleashed 3 petrol engines in this generation what a turnaround! Seems like the diesel agenda is having an impact.

On that note it looks like the 20i and 30i better / equal the co2 of the 20d and 30d another big step change, if that's accurate!

Hi Tony

Are there any offers on stock of the current shape X3?

I've seen various 0% PCP offers which are obviously attractive, but was wondering what contributions remain available

Very interested in the new X3 and test driving one next weekend... Might have to wait until Jan 2019 though to get some sort of discount... Tony if you have anything tempting on an 30d or m40i then give me a shout!

Haha thanks Dave,

Honestly I must have watched every YouTube video going. Love the new look and will definitely be buying one... Just fingers crossed the maths doesn't work out quite as painful as I think it might.

MY2018 X3 does looks good and loaded with nifty features.

The Parole Officer's VW Tiguan lease is due up May 2018 so a lesser variant might be her next car......

Tony - hint hint....
