Hello

Just want to tell you guys how much power you can get out of a 2006mod 118d.
This is my 118d. Its a 2006 mod M-Sport car whit 122hp/280nm from factory.
As you all know this car is realy boring to drive whit stock engine software.

So what have been done:

New custom 120d turbo
New and bigger injectors
Total remove ERG.(see picture)
Remove DPF.
E90 330i breaks. Front 330mm disc and 300mm disc rear.

ERG removed:

Here is some numbers:
Its putting out 250hk@3850rpm and 530Nm @ 2300rpm.This is the same hp that the BMW Motorsport 1998 320d that won the 24h race at Nürburging but my car has higher torque. I got 80% of max power from 2400rpm until 4400rpm. The car is realy fun to drive now.
There is not to much smoke from the exhaust now thtas why only 250hp. I belive 260hp is within reach if I alow more smoke but I dont like to much smoke.
Flywheel and clutch is stock 118d.

And here is a movie. 0-210kmh.

Come and tune my 09 118d ! Lol, remapped to 174bhp, far better than the turd 143bhp stock map, but still not exactly fast. (I know its a weasel) Much more responsive which is better than the cardigan requirement at 143 i guess :lol2: but wish it was a little quicker than it is before swapping it for something better. :(

The newer 118d 143bhp edc17 is more tuneable than the early 122bhp edc16
If you know how to remove the limits that hold the power back
Here are a Dyno graph of a standard 118d 143bhp tune to over 190bhp as a standard car with no other mods than a remap and they will go more

That I can agree. The newer 118d 143bhp edc17 has a bigger turbo then the 122bhp edc16. Thats the reason its gives you more power. ITs the turbo that is stopping the 122hp engine power. Change that to a 2.0L turbor or a 2,5L turbo and you get realy some power from it. . The early 122bhp edc16 is the same engnie that BMW Motorsport used in racing so its not bouild to save the save the environment in the same way that newer engies are.

118d 143bhp edc17 easy puts out 200hp when everyting is done right.
