ive bin offerd x5 wheels in 19" wondering if i would need adaptors for them to fit on my 118msport convertible

You might get away with four front alloys (they're thinner at 9" - still very wide though).

This is assuming they're from an early X5, up to 2005. The 2006 onward X5's had different size bores and wheel nuts.

X5 wheels are made for M14 bolts instead of M12. Don't know if that could cause any problems too?
