I got in my car yesterday with wet jumper and it got the back part of the seat a bit damp. Since it's dried theres is water stain showing. Any suggestions on how to clean it? I have access to a steam cleaner but have never used one. Would this be good to use?
I find one of the best methods for cleaning seats is a little bowl of hot soapy water (fairy liquid) and a good scrubbing brush, damp the brush in the soaping water and scrub away, although this time of year you may want to bang the heaters on for a little while after to get rid of the dampness after. I used to work for a company who specialised in steam cleaning car interiors and in the end we always resorted to the above method.

Just tried this method as I found a water stain on my rear seat. However, area that got wet with the soapy water has dried and created a very similar water mark
Water marks are created when the moisture spreads, taking any dirt, minerals & cleaning agents with it. Where it stops spreading is where the water mark is created.
The best way to remove it is with the use of an extraction machine, but without the use of one of those, then clean the whole back section and hopefully any water mark created will be on the seams and edges of the seat, and unlikely to be seen.

I get this problem a lot on the fabric seats and armrests of my BMW 1 series...
I use the simple Turtle Wax Interior1 Cleaner from Halfrauds....simple and effective....works every-time.
It does what it says on the tin
