Ah ok, Looks like typical short coilover lack of droop lifting wheel off ground rather than M3 arb causing it, solution fit stiffer springs or front ARB to reduce roll, rear looks fineGraearea said:M3 front arb, YOUR old rear so it's all your fault! Ha ha. Bc shocks. Not sure which or shat springs. Brakes were really good. No fade all day and a little more power than I was comfortable using. Especially once the tyres were warm as they started overheating the tyresTHETYRANT said:Looks like an old MK2 escort lifting the front like that! remind me what suspension and ARB are you using ? oh and how were the brakes ?Graearea said:Tripod!

Certainly buddy be my guest.Graearea said:Mind if I link to that video on track time?Twenny said:Tight left turn that seemed to catch a lot of people out (including myself once - see the vid below) can skip to 3:20 to see me run out of road and talent.
That was early on (my second time out on track) and was my only mistake the whole day. Apart from Mark catching my back end wiggle -
Good job I checked my mirrors on that left turn I over shot earlier and saw this guy coming in way to quick otherwise he'd of taken me out. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he made the same mistake I did and ran out of talent.
For my first ever track day it was a lot of fun and was as good as I was expecting. I learnt loads about my car and what it can (and can't do).
The car has far more talent than the driver that's for sure lol

Yes mate, I think it's the third video in my post above.Graearea said:twenny didn't this guy do the same to you? Any chance you've got the video?

Judging by that vid, yep, he was just impatient and dangerous. Should have been reported.Rustle said:"Good job I checked my mirrors on that left turn I over shot earlier and saw this guy coming in way to quick otherwise he'd of taken me out. There's a thread on the FB forum track time of that yellow Megan'e doing the exact same thing to another car on the chicane on the back straight. Last Knute five up the inside like a raver. So it's not run out of talent, he's simply a c**k.

Glad to hear our pads were doing the job, quite impressive just how powerful they are until you get used to them and that's only XP8 you wana try XP20! , remember to bleed fluid a few pumps before next track outing as will be past its best now.

Excellent and I cant wait to get some in my Brembos and get on track, even on with the BMW pads I had forgotten how much of an upgrade it is over stock caliper setup, which is pretty decent to be fair.markhurley said:Xp8's where awesome no fade what's so ever!
Only problem I had was pick up on the tyres had a few laps where it felt terrible I scrapped off the big chunks and it was all good again .
Things I need to do
Firmer Suspension ( going to bung in the stiffer rear springs first as that's the cheapest option and the car was at its best with them in but just a bit to hard for the rd)
Proper seat to stop me sliding around
And some bigger balls ( ones the size of johns )
Apart from that car was great, supreme on the brakes plenty of power, loved it !
Need to book another one,Hopefully get my videos sorted this weekend.
Gezzer in the Megane was a complete bell end he was wearing his full Renault sport race suit he thought he was in a competition.

Any of you guys fancy a trip further north to Cadwell, Oulton or Croft in next few weeks ? im hoping to get something booked soon.

Agreed, looks like you're cocking a rear. Are you still running the weird BMW standard balance of stiff rear springs, & soft fronts?godzilla said:My mate's friend turns to be a pretty handy pro photographer.
Love this shot, it looks like my inside rear is off the ground, although I think that's an optical illusion of the shadow.
Thanks buddy and yeah a lot of people say that about my lines. I would've said the same a few years ago lolRustle said:Great videos. By god you turn in early to so some of the tighter corners which seems to correlate with how much tail wagging you get at the exit. Makes for great watching [emoji106]git-r2 said:Finally finished my vids:

I think he got the date wrong. If you look at the pics they are from Saturday.Twenny said:Is anyone else having a problem on the sprite photo web site?
When I click on track days only the Sunday 18th comes up with no other options to choose the Saturday. It's getting on my tits now. Emailed the guy and he said it's on his web site. I said umm no it's not and he's not replied.

Yeah standard springs. So much better balanced than my pre-LCI M135i as I described earlier.marco_polo said:Agreed, looks like you're cocking a rear. Isn't that infinitely more expensive to install than a new set of springs?marco_polo said:I'd be considering a slightly firmer front ARB.
That link won't work for me John I take it it's the Megane nugget!Graearea said:
