Hi Guys,

Just thought I would post up a thread about my new BMW 125i Convertible.

This is the 3.0L straight 6 engine with 218bhp standard which makes an awesome noise.

Here she is the day I picked her up......

Image

I have already changed a few things on the car starting with the rear diffuser. I changed the standard plastic one to the BMW performance carbon fibre one which is much more aggresive.

After.....

I have now changed the exhaust to the BMW performance exhaust which sounds AMAZING and now it is starting to wear in it pops and bangs on the over run and when flooring it the noise is an amazing roar.

Before....

After.....

I also changed the chrome front grills again for the BMW performance ones which are gloss black and at the same time fitted the BMW performance pedals.

Interior.....

The interior has all the extra's... Sat nav, cruise control heated leather bluetooth ect ect

Some pictures I took today.....

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. No-one has even commented on how dirty it is haha.

Next on the hitlist is crbon fibre bmw performnce rear boot spoiler and bmw performnce intake. Along with xenon's and changing that wood interior trims as I think they look terrible. Possibly looking into getting the bmw performance interior bits aswell i.e. steering wheel, handbrake and shortshift gear knob.

What does everyone think of the black grill? i'm still 50/50 I did like the chrome but think i prefer the black.

Very nice. I was at a friend's house over the weekend and their neighbour had a space grey M Sport convertible parked outside with the hood down and I thought what a good car it would be for the weather.

Re. the black BMWP grilles, I personally prefer the standard ones with chromed spars as it's one of the six cylinder identifiers.

Any thoughts on carbon fibre rear boot spoiler? I don't want it to look chavy or halfordsy and whilst us fellow bmw drivers know that it's a genuine bmw performance part and a nice bit of kit if you didn't know you might think someone has just bought a halfords spoiler lol

Looks sweet, the convertible is best in black.

I'd get the carbon trim for the interior, it'll be the business.

Wow- awesome looking car!! I love the exhaust. The performance grilles look good, but what I like is the vertical slats in chrome, with the outer-bit in black.
The 1st thing I would definitely change is that wood interior.
Other than that, you have the best looking convertible one I have seen :)

cheers
