Options on the car: I went bonkers; Every single box was ticked. When there was several to choose from, the top option was always chosen.
I did not want a sunroof. I would not have had it even for free. It reduces headroom, increases car weight, reduces roof strength / durability and I have almost never used sunroof in any of my previous cars.

can you believe it?

I STILL CAN'T

4 days ago, I checked my front GoodYear tyres, and I was pleasantly surprised.

They still have a good 15000 or even 30000 miles of thread left in them.

They are still original tyres from new. The car has done 72600 so far .

I will not be surprised if they lasted more than 100000 miles in total.

At 52000 miles I had the rears replaced for the first time, all because of an irreparable puncture (huge nail in the side wall)

Now, it is OVER 5 YEARS OLD WITH 152,000 miles ON THE CLOCK.
I have taken these pictures on 22 April 2010 after a £2.70 wash at local station. NO POLISH OR WAX EVER TOUCHED S9KSY as far as I know:

The picture below shows a spare set of NEW tyres and 142s wheels that I unsuccessfully tried to sell for £1000 but people obviously prefer to pay the dealer £1700+ for the same.
